Article 1 — Company Information

Article 2 — Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • Cooling-off Period: The time within which the consumer can exercise their right of withdrawal.
  • Consumer: A natural person who is not acting in the course of their profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
  • Day: Calendar day.
  • Continuing Performance Contract: A distance contract relating to a series of products and/or services, whose delivery and/or purchase obligations are spread over time.
  • Durable Data Carrier: Any means that enables the consumer or entrepreneur to store information addressed to them personally in a manner that allows for future consultation and faithful reproduction.
  • Right of Withdrawal: The consumer's option to withdraw from the distance contract during the cooling-off period.
  • Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person offering products and/or services to consumers at a distance; in this case, Scaleon Limited, trading as Dalbit Gol.
  • Distance Contract: A contract concluded under a system organized by the entrepreneur for distance selling of products and/or services, using exclusively one or more techniques of distance communication up to and including the conclusion of the contract.

Article 3 — Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract and order concluded between the entrepreneur and consumer. Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these Terms will be made available to the consumer.

If the distance contract is concluded electronically, the text of these Terms will be made available electronically in a way that allows the consumer to easily save them on a durable data carrier.

If one or more provisions of these Terms are wholly or partially invalid or annulled at any time, the contract and these Terms remain in force as to the remaining provisions, and the affected provision will be promptly replaced by mutual agreement with a provision that comes as close as possible to the purpose of the original.


Article 4 — Products and Pricing

4.1 Product Information

All products sold on this website are genuine, handcrafted goods — primarily artisan bags and handcrafted lamps. Due to the artisanal nature of our items, slight variations between pieces are normal and considered a feature of handcrafted work, not a defect. We do our best to display product colors and details accurately, but actual appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting conditions.

4.2 Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in Korean Won (₩ / KRW).
  • Prices are exclusive of any applicable import duties or taxes for international shipments (see Article 5).
  • Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.
  • We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we are not obligated to fulfill the order at the incorrect price and will notify the customer of the correct price or cancel the order with a full refund.

4.3 Currency Conversion

If you pay in a currency other than KRW, your bank or card issuer will apply their exchange rate. We are not responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your bank.


Article 5 — International Customers and Customs

As Scaleon Limited is based in Hong Kong, orders are shipped internationally. Customers may be subject to customs duties and import taxes upon delivery, depending on the destination country. These charges are NOT included in the item price and must be paid by the customer.

Import duties vary significantly and are typically based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, country of origin, and the destination country's taxes, duties, and fees. You will usually receive an import invoice from the carrier (e.g., Korea Post, DHL, FedEx, EMS).

For South Korean customers, parcels valued above the customs threshold may be subject to import VAT and customs clearance fees. We always recommend contacting your local customs authority for the most accurate and current information.


Article 6 — The Offer

Where an offer has a limited validity period or is subject to conditions, this will be expressly stated in the offer. Offers are non-binding, and the entrepreneur is entitled to modify and adjust them.

The offer contains a full and accurate description of the products offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to allow the consumer to properly evaluate the offer. Where images are used, these are a faithful representation of the products offered. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding on the entrepreneur.

Each offer contains such information that it is clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are attached to acceptance of the offer. This includes in particular:

  • Price (in KRW);
  • Shipping costs;
  • Method of contract conclusion and steps required;
  • Whether the right of withdrawal applies;
  • Method of payment, delivery, and performance of the contract;
  • Available sizes, colors, and material types where applicable.

Article 7 — The Contract

The contract is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and complies with its conditions. If the consumer accepts the offer electronically, the entrepreneur immediately confirms receipt electronically. Until the entrepreneur has confirmed receipt of this acceptance, the consumer may rescind the contract.

If the contract is concluded electronically, the entrepreneur will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transmission of data and ensure a safe web environment. If the consumer can pay electronically, the entrepreneur will observe appropriate security measures.

Along with the product or service, the entrepreneur will send the consumer the following information in writing or in a manner that allows the consumer to store it on an accessible durable data carrier:

  1. The business address where the consumer can submit complaints;
  2. The conditions and methods for exercising the right of withdrawal;
  3. Information about existing warranties and after-sales service;
  4. Contract cancellation conditions where applicable.

Article 8 — Right of Withdrawal and Order Cancellation

8.1 Order Cancellation Before Shipping

Once an order is placed and confirmed, our system processes it for immediate fulfillment. Order modifications or cancellations are not guaranteed after confirmation, but we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests received within 12 hours of order confirmation, provided the order has not yet been shipped.

8.2 Right of Withdrawal After Delivery

When purchasing products, the consumer has the right to cancel the contract without giving reason within 14 days of receiving the product. This cooling-off period begins on the day following receipt of the product by the consumer or a representative previously designated by the consumer.

During the cooling-off period, the consumer will handle the product and its packaging with care. The product may only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to assess whether the consumer wishes to keep it.

If the consumer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal, they must notify the entrepreneur within 14 days of receiving the product, via written message or email to support@dalbit-gol.com. After notifying the entrepreneur of the intent to exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must return the product within 14 days.

The consumer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned in time, for example through a shipping receipt or tracking number.

8.3 Condition of Returned Products

Returned products must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition;
  • In their original packaging with all included accessories;
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number).

If these conditions are not met, the entrepreneur reserves the right to refuse the return or deduct an amount corresponding to the loss in value.


Article 9 — Costs in Case of Withdrawal

If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, the return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, unless the product is defective or was incorrectly delivered (in which case Scaleon Limited covers return costs).

If the consumer has paid an amount, the entrepreneur will refund this amount as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal. This refund is subject to the condition that the entrepreneur has either already received the product back or that conclusive evidence of complete return can be provided.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at purchase.


Article 10 — Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may be excluded for products that are:

  • Made to the consumer's specifications (custom-made or personalized items, such as custom lamps);
  • Clearly of a personal nature;
  • Unable to be returned due to their nature;
  • Quickly perishable or aging;
  • Hygiene products where the seal has been broken;
  • Items damaged by the consumer through misuse.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal applies only if the entrepreneur has clearly stated this in the offer, in good time before the conclusion of the contract.


Article 11 — Shipping and Delivery

11.1 Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

11.2 Delivery Time

  • South Korea: 7–15 business days after dispatch
  • Other international destinations: 10–25 business days after dispatch, depending on location

The entrepreneur will make every effort to fulfill received orders promptly, no later than 30 days unless the consumer has agreed to a longer delivery period.

If delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot be fulfilled or can only be partially fulfilled, the consumer will be informed within 30 days of placing the order. The consumer has the right in this case to cancel the contract free of charge and is entitled to any compensation.

11.3 Shipping Carriers

We ship via international postal and courier services, including Hong Kong Post, EMS, DHL, and FedEx, depending on destination and order size. A tracking number will be provided once the order is dispatched.

11.4 Risk of Loss

The risk of damage and/or loss of products remains with the entrepreneur until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a representative designated in advance.


Article 12 — Conformity and Warranty

The entrepreneur warrants that the products and/or services conform to the contract, the specifications stated in the offer, reasonable requirements of reliability and/or usability, and existing legal provisions on the date the contract was concluded.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, small variations between items are inherent and do not constitute defects.

Any defect or incorrectly delivered product must be reported in writing to the entrepreneur within 14 days of delivery, via email to support@dalbit-gol.com. Products must be returned in their original packaging and in new condition.

The warranty does not apply if:

  • The consumer has repaired and/or modified the delivered products themselves or had them repaired/modified by third parties;
  • The delivered products have been exposed to abnormal conditions or treated negligently or contrary to the instructions of the entrepreneur;
  • The defect is wholly or partly the result of regulations that the government has imposed regarding the nature or quality of the materials used.

Article 13 — Payment

13.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following secure payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Shop Pay

All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

13.2 Payment Security

All transactions are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. Card data is transmitted directly to our payment processor in encrypted form and is never stored by Scaleon Limited.

13.3 Billing Descriptor

Charges on your bank or credit card statement will appear as "DALBIT GOL" or "SCALEON LTD".

13.4 Payment Timing

Unless otherwise agreed, amounts owed by the consumer must be paid at the time of order placement. If payment fails or is declined, the order will not be processed.


Article 14 — Refund Policy

14.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are issued in the following cases:

  • Exercise of the right of withdrawal within 14 days (see Article 8);
  • Defective or damaged products upon arrival;
  • Incorrect items delivered;
  • Order cancellation before shipping (within 12 hours of order confirmation);
  • Non-delivery within the agreed timeframe.

14.2 Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days;
  • The amount will be returned to the original payment method;
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–7 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

14.3 Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Custom-made or personalized products;
  • Items damaged due to misuse;
  • Items returned outside the 14-day window;
  • Items returned without original packaging or in used condition.

14.4 Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us first at support@dalbit-gol.com before initiating a chargeback with their bank. We are committed to resolving any issues directly and fairly. Most disputes can be resolved within 48 hours.


Article 15 — Complaints Procedure

Complaints regarding the performance of the contract must be submitted to the entrepreneur with a complete and clear description within 14 days after the consumer has discovered the defects, via email to support@dalbit-gol.com.

Complaints submitted to the entrepreneur will be answered within 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires foreseeably longer processing time, the entrepreneur will respond within 14 days with an acknowledgment of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed response.

If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises that is subject to the dispute resolution procedure.

For South Korean consumers, unresolved disputes may also be referred to:

Article 16 — Personal Data and Privacy

The provision of your personal data through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at www.dalbit-gol.com/privacy-policy.

We are committed to compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of South Korea where applicable, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU customers.

We do not sell or share customer data with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent.


Article 17 — Prohibited Use

You may not use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. Violation or breach of any of the Terms will result in immediate termination of your services.

We sell only legal, handcrafted products. We do not sell:

  • Counterfeit or replica goods
  • Items infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Hazardous, illegal, or restricted items
  • Adult content or prohibited categories

Article 18 — Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).


Article 19 — Modifications to Terms

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website.

It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.


Article 20 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

For consumers residing in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.

For consumers residing in South Korea, the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce applies as mandatory law where it provides greater protection than these Terms.
