Shipping Policy
At Dalbit Gol, our priority is providing you with the best possible delivery experience. We are dedicated to serving our customers in South Korea with maximum care and the highest quality of service for every order of handcrafted bags and lamps.
1. Delivery Time
The total time to receive your order is divided into two main phases:
Processing Time (1 to 3 business days, Monday to Friday)
This includes order confirmation, any necessary adjustments, quality control, careful packaging of handcrafted items, and preparation for dispatch. Each piece is inspected by hand before shipping to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Shipping Time
Estimated delivery time to South Korea: 7 to 15 business days after dispatch.
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as customs delays, adverse weather, remote areas, public holidays, or high shipping volumes (Lunar New Year, Chuseok, Christmas, peak seasons). While we do everything possible to deliver within these timeframes, these estimates depend on third-party logistics services.
2. Logistics Methods and Carriers
We ship from our logistics center in Hong Kong, using a combination of trusted international carriers and local Korean last-mile partners to ensure safe and timely delivery:
International Carriers
- Hong Kong Post (e-Express / Air Mail) — our standard international service, with end-to-end tracking
- EMS (Express Mail Service) — expedited international postal service with priority handling
- DHL eCommerce — for select orders and larger items
- YunExpress / 4PX — international cross-border logistics for cost-effective standard shipping

Once your package arrives in South Korea, it is handed off to a trusted local carrier for final delivery:
- Korea Post (우체국택배)
- CJ Logistics (CJ대한통운)
- Lotte Global Logistics (롯데택배)
- Hanjin Transportation (한진택배)
Tracking
A tracking number is provided for every order as soon as it is dispatched. You will receive it via email along with a link to track your package in real time. Tracking updates may take 2–5 business days to appear after dispatch, especially during the initial customs clearance phase.
3. Shipping Costs
We are pleased to offer free standard shipping on all orders, with no minimum purchase value required.
4. Customs Duties and Taxes
As our orders ship internationally from Hong Kong, customs duties or import taxes may apply once the package reaches South Korea. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- We have no control over these taxes and cannot predict the amount.
- Charges may vary depending on the order value, weight, and product category.
- You will typically receive an import invoice directly from the local carrier upon delivery.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on import duties, we recommend contacting Korea Customs Service (관세청) directly.
5. Incorrect Delivery Address
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct and complete. To ensure smooth delivery, we strongly recommend including a phone number — this is required by Korean carriers, who typically contact recipients by SMS or phone before delivery.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:
- The cost of reshipping will be borne by the customer.
- Alternatively, the customer may request a refund of the product value (shipping costs are non-refundable in this case).
- We will contact you via email to resolve the situation as soon as the returned package reaches us.
Address Change Requests
If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us at support@dalbit-gol.com within 12 hours of placing your order. Address changes are not guaranteed after this window, as orders enter our fulfillment system for processing.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package shows no tracking updates for more than 15 business days:
Contact us at support@dalbit-gol.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and either:
- Reship the order at no additional cost, or
- Issue a full refund.
If your package arrives damaged:
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number;
- Clear photos of the damaged item and packaging;
- A brief description of the issue.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we take damage claims very seriously and resolve them quickly.
7. Delivery Confirmation
A package is considered successfully delivered when:
- The tracking number shows "Delivered" status, and
- The package was delivered to the address provided at checkout.
If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, please:
- Check with neighbors, building management, or your local post office (우체국).
- Wait 48 hours (some carriers mark packages as delivered slightly early).
- Contact us if the package still does not appear — we will work with the carrier to investigate.
